Argonne Modeling Materials Short Course Registration Information

Thank you for registering for the Modeling Materials Short Course that will be held at Argonne National Laboratories during November 18-22, 2013. Welcome!

This document covers the following information about the short course for Argonne employees:

    1. Payment of tuition. Tuition covers the course fee and course material (including textbooks). Tuition must be paid to secure a place in the course. The number of places is limited, so early payment is recommended.

PAYMENT

As one of the first six Argonne employee registrants, your tuition is free. You must only pay $100 for the cost of the textbooks.

COURSE LOCATION AND ARGONNE GATE ACCESS

    • The course will be held at Argonne National Laboratory located at Cass Ave and Northgate Rd, Argonne, IL 60439, USA. A map showing the location is available here.

  • As an Argonne employee you should have access to the Argonne facility. If you are not an Argonne employee, you are looking at the wrong document! Contact Ellad Tadmor for assistance.

COURSE POLICIES

CANCELLATION POLICY: For cancellations made 4 weeks or more before the course start date, the full registration fee will be refunded (less any money transfer or handling fees associated with the payment). After that date, a cancellation charge of 15% will be deducted. No refunds will be made for cancellations made less than 14 days before the start of the course. Registration is transferrable to participants from the same institute. Substitutions can be made at any time.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The organizers reserve the right to cancel the course in the event that a minimum number of participants is not reached. The final decision on whether or not the course will take place will be made about 4 weeks before the start date. If the course is cancelled, the full registration fee will be refunded to all participants.
